Kevin Johnson
At 52 years old, I have decided to make a career transition. My family is planning to move from Maryland to South Carolina to be closer to our family there. We are hoping to purchase enough property to build homes near each other and establish a homestead.
They talked about having some animals and growing some things on the property so that we could get some tax advantages. But, I have been wanting to make a career change, so I am planning to become a farmer.
I have been working in cybersecurity my entire career, so I do not have the skills needed to be successful as a farmer, yet. I have about three years to prepare and learn all that I can.
Since I will be going on this ever green growth journey, I wanted to share my adventure with others and see if we can help each other along the way.
My Community
I have just gotten started with my YouTube channel in January 2026, but I have big plans for the future. I am learning the skills to create content, and outreach to like-minded people to expand this vision of growth. Together, we can change ourselves, and then the world!
Although the community is small today, given enough time and effort, we can reach around the world!
